Signature Live Blackjack - How to Play

This game is played with eight regular decks of 52 cards.

Cards are worth the following vales:

    • Numbered cards 2-10 - face value
    • Jack, Queen, King - 10
    • Ace - one or 11, whichever benefits your hand most

As soon as the betting time is up, all players will be dealt one card face-up.

    Blackjack

Blackjack is the best possible outcome - it's awarded when your initial hand is worth exactly 21.

Achieving Blackjack pays out 1.5x your initial bet.

    Insurance Bet

If the dealer's face-up card is an Ace, you may purchase an Insurance Bet to reduce to risk of the dealer achieving Blackjack.

Insurance bets cost 0.5x your main bet, and are settled separately from the main bet.

    • If the dealer has Blackjack, the Insurance Bet pays out at 2:1
    • If the dealer has Blackjack and you don't, the dealer wins
    • If the dealer doesn't have Blackjack, the game continues
    • If both you and the dealer have Blackjack, the game ends in a 'push' and your stake will be returned

    Game Options

    • Double Down - lets you double your original bet, but you can only receive one more card thereafter
    • Hit - adds another card to your hand. You can Hit as many times as you like, as long as your hand does not exceed 21
    • Stand - lets the dealer know you're happy with your hand and do not want any more cards
    • Split - splits your one hand into two separate hands. You can only split if your initial two cards are of equal value - a separate bet will then be placed on each

    Outcome

If the sum of your hand exceeds 21, you will 'bust' and lose, regardless of the dealer's outcome.

Once all players have had their turn, the dealer will reveal their second card. The following rules apply:

    • If the dealer's hand equals 16 or less, they must Hit
    • If the dealer's hand equals a soft 17 or more, they must Stand
    • You win if the dealer busts or your hand is to 21 than theirs

Blackjack is the best outcome possible and is worth more than a hand of 21 consisting of three or more cards.

It's also worth more than a hand of 21 that was originally a 'Split' pair.

    Side Bets

There are several Side Bets available in this game, as per below.

Side Bets are combined with your main bet.

    Perfect Pairs

You can only place a Perfect Pairs Side Bet if your first two cards comprise one of the following three pairs:

    Bet Behind Feature

This feature enables you to bet on a hand dealt to another player - please note you'll share the outcome of their hand regardless if they win or lose.

Bet Behind payouts are the same as standard bets.

You must select an activated Bet Behind spot at another player's seat before the betting time is up.

If that player does not participate in a round, your stake will be returned; if they Double Down or Split, you can also double your wager.

You cannot prevent another player from betting behind your hand, nor can you bet behind your own hand.

    Hot Player

This icon reveals the player with the longest winning streak.

As soon as they lose a round, they will lose the Hot Players icon.

    Return to Player (RTP)

The optimal theoretical payout percentage is:

    Blackjack – 99.28%

    Perfect Pairs bet – 95.90%

    21+3 bet – 96.30%

The expected return to player is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.

For example, if we take £100 of wagers we will, on average, pay out £99.28 of wins.
