Bond Street Blackjack - How to Play

To win Bond Street Blackjack, get to 21 before the dealer!

    Rules of the Game

Up to seven players can go head-to-head against the live dealer at a single table at one time.

Eight standard 52-card decks are used during this game.

The values of the cards are as follows:

    • Numbered cards two to 10 - face value
    • Face cards - worth 10 each
    • Aces - worth one or 11 (whichever is better for the hand)

At the end of the betting period, one card is dealt face-up to each player.

Cards are dealt clockwise beginning with the first player from the dealer's left.

Once everyone has their first card, each player will receive a second card face-up.

The dealer's second card will be dealt face down.

    Game Options

    • Hit - adds another card to the hand. There is no limit to the number of times you hit, as long as you don't go over 21.
    • Stand - your current hand remains the same.
    • Split - if your first two cards are equal, you can separate them into two hands. A bet will be added to the second hand, which equals the same as your main bet. A second card is then added to each hand. You may then hit as normal unless the initial hand was a pair of Aces. If you have split a pair of Aces, you can only hit once.

    Insurance

Insurance may be bought for half your main bet if the dealer's up-card is an Ace.

Once the dealer checks their second card for Blackjack, the following outcomes may occur:

    • The dealer does not have blackjack - the round continues
    • The dealer does have blackjack but you don't - the dealer wins
    • Both you and the dealer have blackjack - a 'push' is declared and your bet will be refunded

    Insurance Payout

Insurance pays out 2:1 if the dealer has Blackjack.

If you do not have Insurance and the dealer has Blackjack, then the payout is 3:2.

Insurance bets are paid separately from other bets.

    Double Down

Choosing to Double Down will add one more card to your hand and double the wager.

It is not possible to Double Down if you have chosen to Split already.

    Side Bets

Side bets are combined with your main bet.

Even if you do not win your Blackjack wager, it is possible to win a side bet.

    Bet Behind

This feature enables you to share the outcome of another player's hand.

Bet Behind your selected player when betting is live by clicking behind their seat.

If your chosen player does not play the round, then your bet will be returned immediately.

You cannot Bet Behind your own hand.

It is not possible to stop other players from betting behind your hand.

Bet Behind payouts are the same as regular wagers.

    Outcome

Blackjack is achieved if your first two cards equal an Ace and a 10.

Going over 21 results in a 'bust' and you lose.

Once all players have played their turns, the dealer will reveal their second card:

    • If the value of their hand is less than 16 - they must Hit.
    • If they have a Soft 17 or higher - they must Stand.
    • If the dealer 'busts' - you win.
    • If your final hand is closer to 21 than the dealer's - you win.
    • If you and the dealer tie - a 'push' game is declared and your bet is returned.

    Hot Player

The players with the longest winning streaks are identified with the Hot Player icon.

The number shown on the icon represents the number of consecutive rounds that the player has won.
